This post has been updated to fix a pricing error in regard to the 2018 2500 Tradesman. We previously reported that the 2018 Tradesman started at $32,545 (per edmunds), it actually starts at $33,045 (per Ram) making the 2019 Tradesman regular cab 2 wheel drive have an MSRP of $150 less than a 2018 Model similarly equipped.
While you have been able to order a 2019 Ram Heavy Duty pickup from your local Ram dealer since mid-January, Ram has not made the official pricing public. This morning, Ram Trucks has officially announced base MSRP pricing on all configurations of the 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups. While we haven’t gotten all the information just yet, the pricing of this pickups seems very welcoming considering how much is new for the 2019 model year.
While the base price is up $350 over last year, the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 becomes the base engine (previously a $500 option) and the gas trucks gain the 8-speed ZF-sourced automatic transmission which was previously unavailable on the Heavy Dutys, making the 2019 trucks an even better value than last years. Compared to competitors the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty is priced right in line with the 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty which starts at $33,150 and undercuts the 2019 Silverado 2500 HD which is no longer available as a regular cab and starts at $37,600.

The new 2019 Ram Heavy Duty is available in a wide range of offerings, from the well-equipped Ram 2500 Tradesman regular cab 4×2’s $33,395 MSRP to the technology-leading Ram 3500 Limited Mega Cab 4×4 with 12-inch Uconnect 4C touchscreen at $67,050 plus destination.
Pricing of all models reflects the standard 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. The optional 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel with 6-speed automatic transmission is $9,100, while the optional 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque Cummins High Output (3500 only), mated to the Aisin 6-speed transmission, is $11,795.
Please do keep in mind, that these numbers are for the United States. Ram has yet to announce it’s Canadian pricing just yet. We will be rolling out more pricing for individual options and equipment as they come out. Also please keep in mind that the price list above does not include the $1,695 destination fee.
