Being at the forefront of the pickup truck industry, the Ram Truck brand is no stranger on how to build the most capable, most efficient, and most luxurious pickups on the market. But how did the brand get there? How did Ram Trucks get to where they are today?

Well, now we are getting a look at what journey lead the Ram Truck brand to where it is now, thanks to a new mini-series that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) had premiered on its North American YouTube channel. The series will feature FCA Chief Designer and Head of the Ram Interior Design Studio, Ryan Nagode, and follow the Ram Truck brand from its Dodge roots as an indispensable farm vehicle, through two World Wars, and into the driveways of families around the globe today.

In 2009, the Ram Truck brand launched as a stand-alone brand separate from Dodge and has been focused on meeting the demands of truck buyers. Since the launch of the brand, the Ram Truck Brand has surpassed Chevrolet as the second most-sold truck brand in the United States and continues to set benchmarks in a number of categories with its Ram 1500, 2500/3500 Heavy Duty, 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab trucks. Over the last 30 years, Ram has the highest percentage of pickups still on the road.
