I used Rain-X on a windshield years ago and while the water ran off at highway speed the wipers streaked like crazy. Took several cleanings before getting it all off. Have not used Rain-X since. I suspect your Rain-X wipers has laid down a film on the glass. Use a good window cleaner on it...

Any wax or something like Rain X on the window? Sounds like you have a film of something on the glass. I have been using Bosch blades with no issues.

Hell, I have problems with the doors OPEN.

Assume you have already activated the TPMS. Go to adaptation and search for "tpms". Go to TPMS Settings. Set light load for front and rear to 0 and the max load to whatever you want. I set my front to 65 and my rear duals to 35. I use the door sticker values when I tow the fiver.

The bed will only lower with significant weight in the bed since the leaf springs support the rear end when empty. If you want a reasonable ride when empty weigh the truck and use the tire load/inflation tables to determine tire psi. I use the door sticker values when load and 64 front and 35...

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately choices are very limited in Canukistan and often at twice the price. I have an old cover for my 2003 dually, that I am going to try to fit. I just need something to keep the starlings from crapping all over it.

Only need for about a month while the starlings are nesting. They crap on the fly. I do wax it and so far no paint damage noticeable after three years. But I am washing the thing several times a week. I searched by year and model, not "gen" and keep coming up empty. Actually that body style...

So far I been unsuccessful in finding a light weight weather cover. Anyone have a source for a light weight light color or silver weather cover that fits a 5th gen club cab dually? The starlings are trashing my truck. I am washing the crap off every day to avoid damaging the paint.

Shipping to Canada is insane for everything. Luckily I spend winters in TX and get order into Geno’s when I get there.
