I didn't get much action in the 4th gen forum and decided to post here too as a lot of you have had 4th gen trucks.

2014 3500 big horn 4x4 6.4 hemi. My switch panel has only rhe sway control button and tow haul button (trailer brake is there too). Under the hood I do not have the fuse box and two connectors next to the MC that I see in photos like these.

Additionally, from what I have read Ram will prewire most if not all trucks with a one fits all wire harness so that the connectors are already in place to add upgrades like heated seats...speaking of which, I would like to add the heated seat option to my truck. I think that my seats are already prewired but don't know for sure. Here are a pics of my seats. Thanks for any confirmation that the seats are prewired and how to go about connecting them to make them work is appricated. I know I will have to upgrade my switch panel to add the aux switches. I am certainly not a wiz kid at electrical stuff but I can eventually figure how to wire things up, it just takes more time than most. From what I have read there is an "upfitter" kit available that I can buy to install the aux switches. Can someone direct me to a complete kit and instructions (you tube link would be great) of what I need. Thanks

Your seats are Not pre wired for heated and to be honest your best bet would be some sort of after market seat heaters with an external switch. It's not a simple plug and play upgrade.

As far as aux switches, they can be added but there is not really a factory "kit", you will need to source the correct switch and an aftermarket relay box etc to get those setup. It won't be 100% factory but will operate the same

The seats themselves are not set up for heat, but all the connectors plugged into them from the body harness are. Your truck is pre wired for power/heated/ventilated/memory seats, wheel, and adjustable pedals. If you swap in a set of seats with any of those features, you won’t need to add any wiring, just enable the options with AlfaOBD.

There is a recent thread in this forum about adding the AUX switch including all part numbers. Shouldn’t be hard to find.

I tried finding it but no luck. Did a google search for a kit too...no luck there either.

Looking further, I found an auxillary switch relay kit here.

I found a switch panel here with the sway control and tow haul buttons with the aux buttons...but too high priced...plus I dont need the brake controller. I already have that in my panel. Anyone know where I can get the panel I need?

Found the other thread I was referring to and it was the same thread, just the tail end of it.
