Mega DRW amp bedstep 2

I just installed the amp bedstep 2 the mounts on the side in front of the rear wheels on my 2020 mega Drw short box. I wanted to post some pictures of the modifications needed since amp says it is not compatible. It will work with a couple minor modifications. The part number I ordered was 75419-01a from amp research. It lists that it will fit 19-22 drw long box. I did not use 2 of the support brackets included with the step, did not have to make any modifications to the truck, all I had to do was slot a hole in one bracket and drill 1 hole in another. It bolted to the bottom of the bed in an oem location, and to the leaf spring hanger through an existing hole with an added spacer and the bolts included with the step. Here are a couple pictures of the modifications and the step installed on my truck. I have only installed it on the drivers side, might add one to the passenger side eventually.
