Go out to your door jamb. Find the GVWR on the silver sticker and your payload on the tire and loading sticker.

GVWR minus Payload equals base weight.

Base weight is full fluids (full tank of fuel) empty truck (nothing in or on the truck)

Mine is a longbed with few options and it weighs 8480. Weighed it at a CAT scale.

Yea. Weigh it. they get heavy quick. Mine started as 10k - 31xx = 68xx and then I bolted like 6-800lb of shiz to it and put a bunch of crap in the bed.

No scales near me....so if the trucks GVWR IS 11,800 # and the payload is 3,900#, that would mean my truck should weigh around 7,900#'s.....sound about right?20210528_194806_resized.jpg20210528_194812_resized.jpg

Just had mine on the scales at the scrap yard yesterday, 21 CCSB 6.7 tradesman came in at 7700 and some change so your estimate of 7900 is pretty close

That's hurtful.....but yes.
Don't worry, I have scales at work so I drive over them a couple times a month to always check. 2020 limited 6.7 AISIN Megacab with my "big framed body" inside is 8990 - 9040#s. Thats with some tools and other crap in the truck...maybe I do need to lose some weight lol.

I have a 3500 SRW with the HO and MegaCab. With about 1/2 tank of fuel it was right at 8500 lbs. I had about 40-50 lbs of tools, straps, blankets etc in it.
